We arrived at the Kala, which was the most beautiful resort! We had 23 guests for our wedding which was planned by the lovely Maria and Pat. Throughout the build up to the wedding, Maria spent months of planning and made every special request possible. We chose the Kala to spend our wedding with our guests as there was a flexible plan for the wedding where we could make the special day simple, yet beautiful! We found other hotels to offer ceremonies that didn't suit our style and were quite over the top. The amount of work, effort and time that went into our special occasion was spectacular! The hundreds of flowers, meetings, band, pastor and lanterns on ceremony made the day and night one never to forget. The staff were so genuinely excited for us and we had our wedding on the stunning deck overlooking the best view on Samui! Our pastor was a gorgeous Scottish fellow who lived on Samui for 5 years and put on a simple ceremony with beautiful words! All of our guests had a meticulous and delicious tasting seafood buffet, desert and the band added extra ambiance with a lot of dancing and fun!

The staff are nothing short of amazing! With special mention to Maria, Pat, Ki, Jue and Aimee (please forgive my spelling and all of the other gorgeous staff) who made our time at the Kala effortless, friendly, private, enthusiastic and fun!

I just can't recommend staying at the Kala more! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and we saddened for it all to come to an end! We stayed in the pool villa for a couple of nights, which is highly worthwhile! The stunning scenery, delicious Thai Green Curries, friendly and forever smiling faces, flowers and natural ambience make The Kala Samui the BEST place to stay on the island!

To the Kala Staffs ,

There are moments in our lives that withstand the passage of time as they are memories so powerful in happiness and love. For Nicole and I, such a memory was made here, at the kala. Through the immense care and efforts of the staff, our wedding day was magical day we will remember fondly always.

Thank you for making our stay here so comfortable. We enjoyed the warm hospitality of all the staff and the aura of warmth created in everything you do.

Maria and the staffs at The Kala did everything humanly possible to make our wedding a magical and unforgettable experience. My wife and I and all of our guests agree that it was the finest ceremony we have ever experienced. Johnny, the celebrant was wonderful and added a touch of real emotion to the proceedings. Make sure you ask for him !
